Workshops are free, informational classes presented to inform and enlighten the community. We hope to have a wide variety of subjects available for everyone's interest.
"So You Wanna Be An Author" by M.R. Sellars
Presentation Synopsis: What is it like to be a published author? What are the steps you can take to possibly get yourself there? Workshop includes hints, pointers, and stories from the road by someone who wrestles with the job on a daily basis. Attending does not guarantee you publication, but will hopefully help you navigate the waters with a better idea of where you are going. Questions encouraged and answered.
"Pride And Hubris" by M.R. Sellars
Presentation Synopsis: Pride in who you are and what you believe is important. But, how much is enough?
"Heal, Hale, Holy: Diagnostic Skills for Energy Healers" by Kirk White
This is a class for current and aspiring energy healers looking to expand the type and number of diagnostic skills available. We will be drawing on the theory and techniques of traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, magick, and other energetic healing systems to define and refine our healing strategies. Looking, asking, feeling, sensing, tongue, pulse and other techniques will be explored and practiced.
"Lessons in Ritual Triage or 'How to Avoid the Ford Pinto Ritual'" by Kirk White
This will be an anecdote-filled discussion on what makes a ritual a good or a bad one. Over the years, the presenter has been to some amazingly powerful rituals, some plain duds, and some downright dangerous ones. We'll talk about how each got that way and various techniques to make energy flow, get everyone involved, stir up some change for people, while keeping everyone safe and sane. We'll also explore the difference between ritual and ritual theater and how different size groups (10, 100, 1000 participants) need to be planned differently.
"The Labyrinth: A Tool for Transformation" by Tracy Andryc
The labyrinth is an ancient design that appears throughout history for some 4,000 years. It is a sacred tool for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation that unlike a maze has a unicursal path with only one path in and one path out. It is a divine blueprint for our soul’s journey whose path can guide us in opening our whole selves to deep reflection, enlightenment and inspiration. This presentation of the labyrinth will cover the history, uses and transformative opportunities that this sacred tool has to offer followed by a walk in the labyrinth.
"Celtic Hazelnut Divination" by the Celtic Cricket
This form of divination uses a set of hazelnuts inscribed with sacred symbols. In
this workshop, the Celtic Cricket will guide you through creating your own set of Celtic Hazelnuts to take home and enjoy. He will relay the story of each symbol for the nuts as you get a chance to inscribe your own. Once your set is completed, you will learn how to use your Celtic Hazelnuts as a divination tool. You will be able to enjoy this tool right away by answering questions for others in the workshop as well as your own questions.
"Local Hauntings" by Green Monkey Paranormal Society

that would love to learn about local hauntings in your area? If so, this is the class for you. We will be taking a close look at some famous and not so famous haunts in your local areas. We will teach you the background, the evidence reported and also the best ways to approach and investigation at these sites. We’ll check out Rhode Island’s most haunted including sites such as Block Island, Cumberland Monastery, Exeter cemetery (burial place of vampire Mercy Brown) and Belcourt Castle, just to name a few. We’ll skip on over then to

"Connecting with your Totems" by Duir Kell
In this workshop you will learn the different types of totems that you will meet throughout your life. Learn their meanings and what messages they have for you.
"Time Is On My Side (yes it is") by Chris LaFond
Astrology is all about timing. But even astrologers are guilty of ignoring the opportunities that we have to work in sync with cosmic timing, rather than working against it. Whether you’re interested in when to begin a new project, take a trip apply for that job; or when to plan your next ritual or work magick, astrology may be your hidden key to success.
