Spiral Dance
Presentation Synopsis: This Spiral Dance will be to raise energy for Mother Earth. The Spiral Dance to me is a very Spiritual experience.We will first start with a short relaxation exercise to connect with Mother Earth. Then we will dance an in and out spiral. With a big spiral we can have it going two ways at once. When we have raised the energy at the end of the dance we will send it to Mother Earth by sitting on the ground and placing our hands on the earth. I will have a cd player with me playing some music.

Exploring the Magick of Rune Divination

Introduction to Tai Chi Chuan
Presentation Synopsis:Participants will learn 'about' Tai Chi - its history, theory and principles - and why it offers so much in today's world. Introduction to Hanna Somatics: How to Avoid the Myth of Aging
Presentation Synopsis:Participants will learn 'about' Hanna Somatics - what it is, why it's unique and how it works, including key principles, i.e., the 'myth of aging', sensorimotor amnesia, and the archeology of insults. Time permitting John will teach attendants a simple movement pattern for improved flexibility and sensorimotor intelligence. Attendees should bring a towel or yoga-type mat.

Creating Community Through Tribal Bellydance
Presentation Synopsis:Tribal bellydance is founded on traditional bellydance, Indian dance and Flamenco. It creates a 'tribe' of dancers together to build community. This workshop will provide a brief history of tribal bellydance and it's evolution in the US. It will explore using rhythmic movements to create sacred space within a tribe. Basic tribal technique and combinations will be taught and experienced. A Tribal Dance improvisation will be demonstrated.

Bio: Neylan has been performing and teaching in New England since relocating here in 2000 from the Midwest. She has extensive training in classical dance, yoga, middle eastern and world dance style. She has performed with Arabian Village Dance Troupe and Troupe Nasib from Rhode Island and as a soloist in many locations. She directs two dance troupes Daughters of Neylan and the Dobershiek Dames. She is also the head facilitator for the New England P.U.R.E chapter, a branch of puredance.org.
C & D Reptile Presentations
Presentation Synopsis:
Chris and Derrick will entertain adults and children alike while educating them on proper care and handling of a variety of snakes and reptiles. They will dispel some myths about reptiles and help you to overcome your fears of these wonderful and mythical creatures. Chris & Derrick will be offering their wealth of information to you, so be sure to bring your reptile questions and curiosity!

Bio: Chris & Derrick have been breeding reptiles for the past 6 years. Derrick has experience working at several pet shops in the RI area. Chris is an avid snake and reptile breeder and enthusiast. Some of our favorite reptiles are Redtail Boas, Ball Pythons, and Bearded Dragons. We have designed a family friendly presentation on these wonderful creatures for all types of events.
Connecting to Modron, Goddess of the Autumn Equinox
Presentation Synopsis:
Mother of Mabon (for whom the Wiccan holiday is named), Modron is the mysterious Welsh Goddess of the Isle of Avalon. Her story has important lessons of renewal and rebirth, healing and wholeness, fusion and connection for all of us. After a brief discussion of Goddess spirituality, we will explore Modron's teachings through her symbols ~ the apple and the mist ~ as well as through her other Goddess incarnations, Morgan le Fey and the Deas Matrones. We will end the workshop with a magick spell designed to heal one aspect of our selves.

Bio: Michelle Skye has been a practicing eclectic witch for over twelve years and has been working with the fey since she was a child. Although solitary, she is active in the Pagan community. Herbs Gone Wild
Presentation Synopsis:
What defines and herb? Where can I find them? Once I find them, what the heck do I do with them? In this entertaining workshop take a walk with Charles Cochrane, certified herbalist as he shows you how to identify some of the more common and helpful herbs that grow wild in the area. Charles will explain how to collect, dry and store herbs for future use and give you some folkloric information as well as health and magickal information on these wild growing nature devas.

Bio: Charles is a certified herbalist through the Green Witch School. He is an avid gardener, but one of his favorite pastimes is nature walks and identifying herbs. He has written several articles for the RI Holistic Guide and TAPS Magazine. He has been featured in several local newspapers. Charles is also a frequent guest on both FM & AM radio programs. Bio: Jenna Greene is a Celtic pagan singer-songwriter, a weaver of myth and magick. She began her musical journey as a soloist at her family's church in Abington, MA at the age of 10. She always felt that spiritual music brought her peace and wholeness. At the age of 16 she began studying earth religions. It wasn't long before mythic themes, faeries and nature were woven into her songs. These new songs took on a life of their own. Listeners described them as "healing". Sound healing soon became Jenna's great passion and she set out to study sound masters' techniques and developed her own. Her workshop "Give Peace A Chant" calls upon the powers of music, chant, nature, spirit, voice, rhythm and laughter to manifest positive change.Singing for a live audience is another thing Jenna is passionate about. She has traveled all over New England performing her own songs as well as haunting Celtic favorites. Finding hoe and following dreams are common themes in her music. She muses, "My biggest dream is for my songs to uplift the listener and help them to find magick in themselves. That is why I make music." Her debut CD Crossroads will be released soon. It is a collecting of original songs inspired by the ancient Celts, nature, faeries, dreams and the works of Joseph Campbell.
